Facebook + Ziddio = Facebook Diaries

Ziddio. the new usergenerated video site but this one isn't your average 2.0 startup. this is a traditional media giant (Comcast) coming to play in the UMEDIA space. the best videos are availabe on Comcast on demand. I still haven't read up on if their will be compensaton for the content providers, however, i'm assuming yes.

To really get this thing announced Ziddio partnered with Facebook for the Facebook Diaires. Using advertising on MTV they announced a show about the facebook community: Facebook.com/diaries.



from what i could tell this site is completely user generated content and doesn't have the copywrite material of a YouTube.

Facebook Badges

somehow facebook upgraded their badge (widget) functionality and it slipped under my nose - until RJE7 woke me up.

Here's a sample of one:


They let you customize the info you want to provide and have a more dynamic javascript version that won't work with blogger.

Twitter

Twitter is the new rage. Not quite sure what i think of it yet, but do find it cool if you get a good collective of people you know on there. though some people go overboard (stay away from steve reubel)

Remix Videos

We've seen remix songs. We know this game. but love how Kanye takes it up a level with a video for this remix:



nice work using after effects and photo manipulation to create a cool piece of content without requiring much new shooting.
